The question is, how long do you think it takes to change someone’s life? “How Long Does It Take To Change Someone’s Life?” How long does it take for you to change your life progressively and positively for good?
You see, during my live training, I often ask this question, “How long does it take to change someone’s life progressively”. And each time I ask, the answers are always wild.
But here is the reality, some think it takes years to change someone’s life, possible forever to change someone’s life, some think it takes a lifetime.
But practically, it does not take much time, not years, not decades, and never forever. When it can take just 6 months or less.
If you read the title of this post, I mentioned 6 months, but literally 1 month is enough to change someone’s life, when I mean someone’s life. I’m not referring to you or me changing another person’s life, because it’s harder or next impossible to change someone’s ex-life. We can only change our life!! not necessary others
What I mean by changing someone’s life is you, it’s me, I in person, or you in person, changing his or her life progressively, and this does not take much. When is it possible within 6 months?
But for a general view, let’s take the famous Elon Musk quote (“Try all you can to achieve your 10-year goal in 6 months”).
Now, when Elon Musk said this, most people think he is wrong, most people think it is next to impossible, until some people get involved in it and start experiencing how possible it is that one can achieve his or her 10 years goals in 6 months.
You don’t need forever to change your life for good; you need a month or at least 6 months to do so. Now remember, one of the very best things to happen to this generation is the ability to own a smartphone. a computer system and access to the internet
Just as I will always say, with access to the internet, you hold a lot of possibilities
Now let’s break it down
6 months of “hard work”, “smart work“, “consistency“, “focus“, and “discipline” can change your life forever. Starting with YOU, Working Hard.
1: Working Hard:
When working hard can change your life in 6 months, the question is, what are you working hard on, for what purpose, and goal?
Yes, 6 months of hard work, when you hear the term work hard, first I want to take you to the football legend, the Goat himself, Cristiano Ronaldo, who, a few days ago, made a post, “No shortcuts. Only hard work,” as seen on the screenshot below
He said “No shortcuts. Only hard work pays“; 6 months of hard work can change your life for good. 6 months, practically working hard, can change your future for good.
But you need to learn to forget every distraction, name the distractions in your life, you know yourself better, itemize all distractions in your life and say no to them ALL.
And more importantly, focus and remember “No shortcuts. Only hard work can change your life for good” and that takes us to being (Focus) in all you do.
2: Focus: Being focused can help you change your future
You see, when Google changed its algorithm years ago, before then we used to rank websites in less than 1 month.
We can rank our website, pages, and posts, we can easily rank our customers’ websites, pages, and posts, including YouTube channels and videos in less than a month and they will be getting hundreds to thousands of traffic from google search and youtube search all alone.
Then came consistent changes in Google algorithm, making it so hard to rank a website, web pages within a month across 99% webmasters.
This Google change in algorithm also affected my belief of building a business online faster. Because back then, when it came to building and growing an online business. You can’t do it without Google rankings and organic search traffic.
When Google changed, I started to believe that it takes at least 1 year to 3 years to build a business online. Remember, this is what we used to do in less than one month before the Google algorithm change
Despite the Google algorithm change, we kept practicing until I came to an understanding that it does not take years, with or without google, to build a progressive business, startup etc online. My result is not just to my business, but also to my client’s business also.
That today, we build business, I mean progressive business in 6 months of hard work, join with focus, working smarter, being consistent, and many more
You must have focus if you want to achieve success. Focus is part of it, focus and avoid all distractions, focus in line with your life and business goal is the key.
3: Smart work. Working smarter can change your life for the better in less than 6 months
Is like someone who desires good health, just as the saying goes, health is wealth. For you to gain good health practically from my personal experience, two things are involved.
i: Consistent exercising: of the body and mind, being physically exercising your body, practicing yoga, and more importantly, exercising your mind by reading the right books, watching the right courses, training, listening to the right audios, literally feeding your mind with the right materials, and exercising your body. Are the top one smart work you need to understand truly, truly that “health is wealth”
ii: Watching what you eat: What goes into your mind, what goes into my mouth, what I eat changes the very moment I come across the Facebook growth Banting Daily Meal then went through the testimonies of other users right in the group, watch how people change their diet, their daily meals, and how it transformed most of their lives for good. That was the moment I started taking very good care of what I eat.
For example, I don’t eat junk food, you should not either. Yes it is impossible to completely avoid junk food, but literally, I have limited them, while this is not just about me.
The billionaire banker Tony O. Elumelu, the Chairperson of the United Bank for Africa, is who he is today, because he applied these two principles into his daily life.
He exercises daily and eats the right food at the right time daily, knowing too well that health is indeed wealth and you need to be in good health to attain your life goal.
So it takes being smart to go for good health, you may not know how wealthy you are for being healthy until you go walk across the hospital, see how much some people are spending for one or two treatments, most ill health is a result of wrong living, giving our body and soul what they don’t want
So it takes smartness, not just in pursuing good health, but also in personal or business growth, knowing too well that you need to be healthy to make wealth.
