Now, this will probably be contested by a lot of you but I have found Ms. Open Office to be my second best program to write eBooks after Grammarly.

Because it is totally free and has an excellent selection of features. For example, it allows you to instantly convert your regular .doc file to a .pdf files

And it also has a massive range of really nice fonts to choose from. If you have a new version of Microsoft you can probably do all of this stuff within the interface of Ms open office.

People are downloading your eBook because they want to figure out how to do something. For this reason, you should start with the end result that they are looking for and work your way backward.

Sometimes I will write the contents page first because it gives me a good plan. Other times I will just write like crazy and worry about the format later.

Some time ago I download an eBooks and find it hard to read it due to bad font and color combination, this is something you should avoid while formatting your ebook contents

You really only need to use a simple font like Arial, Verdana or Georgia at size 14 or 16 and then a simple color scheme like black text color and a matching color background

Don’t go overboard when it comes to this stuff! Less is always more in the design field. You should also avoid bright reds for text as it looks spammy.

After you, most have written and formatted the layout of your work, it’s now time to get your work proofread by others.

Once it comes to proofreading eBook, go for someone who is not afraid to give you harsh feedback. Also, think giving it out to professional writers or other people in your industry.

Again, you will have to make sure you select the right zoom levels for your ebook because sometimes it will save blurry and may not be good for some reader experience.

So I recommend saving your eBook at 100 to 120% zoom level because this was smoothest. Due It may all depend on your graphics and logos and how well you have created and saved them in Illustrator or Photoshop.
