As the Nigeria government has started to delist some companies and business names from their Corporate Affairs Commission database list

Over a hundred thousand incorporated companies and business names databases in Nigeria are marked for delisting

So if you have an incorporated business or company name with the Nigerian government, through her CAC ministerial board

Should you have not heard “the Nigeria government through her minitrial Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)” has commenced delisting/striking off companies’ names from its databases

Here are steps you should take to know if your business or company is among the over 100,000 plus affected business/company names in Nigeria

This came after the CAC Official announced that they will commence delisting/striking off companies that have not complied with the provisions of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020

According to the official note “Released” to the Nigerian public by the CAC official: Title: PUBLIC NOTICE: COMMENCEMENT OF STRIKING OFF COMPANIES FROM THE REGISTER. Which can be read here or. Please See the Notice Footage Below

In summary, the notice read that. The Government agency in charge of incorporating businesses/company names in Nigeria has taken this measure as a requirement of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 to delist those names that have not complied so far

And here the members of the public are hereby informed on time to check if their company’s names or business names are among those names already marked for deletion
