The people are largely Christians, predominantly by Catholic and Anglican faith with a cultural heritage deeply rooted in tradition which is fast returning across all the sate #Anambra.
Anambra people are well known for keeping their culture, festivals, and art forms like traditional dance, masquerade performances, and traditional music, which reflect their core traditions.
They speak the Igbo language mostly, as well as the English language, both with distinct dialects across different communities. Food-wise, they’re renowned for dishes like Ofe Akwu (Banga soup), Ofe Unobu (Bitter leaf soup), and Ukwa (Breadfruit).
